Each capsule contains 6 mg astaxanthin from the freshwater microalga Haematococcus pluvialis. One capsule a day – the pack of 60 capsules lasts two months. 100 % vegan.

Astaxanthin is the red carotenoid that gives salmon, shrimp and flamingos their colour – they all take it in through algae. Haematococcus pluvialis produces it when exposed to strong sunlight or nutrient shortage, turning deep red in the process.

At 6 mg a day, the dose stays within the EU maximum of 8 mg a day for adults.
